Styled after boots of the Middle East from about 1100 to 1800, the Persian boot is a most unique boot. Also called a "pointy toed
or curly toed" boot or Mongol boot, the Persian boot and shoe is characterized
by an upturned toe and elegant flowing lines. If you have a middle Eastern
persona you may also want to check out the
SCA Boot page as it also is very
characteristic of the same period. Note that the Persian boots of late period
more resemble cowboy boots in construction which are more stiff. The
Persian boots, like all my boots, are soft!
The Persian boot is superb fighting
boot, although steel toes are not an option, the upturned toe gives added
protection to the toes. The heel is double thick
to give good ankle support and I recommend ankle laces or a buckle for
fighting in the Persian boot.
Turkish Style Boot or Persian Low Point Boot

Above is the Turkish Boot also known as the low point Persian
boot for those who want a more subtle look to the boot. The top of the boot is
smooth with no seam down the front of the boot. It is representative of Turkish
and Janissary boots and late period Russian Nobility.
Above are the NEW Ottoman designs
based on period Ottoman Turk illuminations and architecture. The boot
designs are two layers/colors and massive amounts of appliqué work in a standard
pattern and are $500 with other options extra. Middle Eastern dancers should ask for a thin dancing sole. Fighters should order ankle support. Stylized
designs can be added at additional cost; cost will vary according to
the desired design. By selecting the options below, Fancy
Extras, you can make your own unique look!
Persian and Turkish style boots are custom order only and begin at $425.00 for Lords and Ladies.
